PHYS310 Computational Physics

An introduction to the numerical methods and computational tools used in physics. Python will be used to create computational models of a variety of physical problems. Topics include: 3-D modeling of physical systems; reading and writing data, obtaining data through database queries, plotting data, and curve fitting; numerical methods of solving ordinary differential equations. (Prerequisite: PHYS 202). Fall.
