PHYS202 General Physics: Thermodynamics & Electromagnetism
(NATURAL SCIENCE) This is the second semester of calculus-based physics for students interested in the physical sciences and engineering. Topics are drawn from thermodynamics and electromagnetism: thermal energy transfer & phase changes, kinetic theory, the laws of thermodynamics, heat engines, electric forces & fields, electric potential, current & resistance, magnetic forces & fields, electromagnetic induction, and EM radiation. (Prerequisite: PHYS201). Spring.
