PHYS350 Stellar Astrophysics
This course covers the physics of stars. We will explore star formation, stellar interiors and atmospheres, stellar oscillations, the end states of stars including white dwarfs, supernovae, neutron stars, pulsars, and black holes. (Prerequisite: MATH 205 and PHYS 102 & 104 or PHYS 201 & 203 ). Spring of even years (alternates w/ PHYS355).
