PHYS303 Oscillations, Waves and Light Laboratory

This is an intermediate-level lab course that accompanies PHYS 301. Experimental topics include the pendulum, driven oscillations & resonance, standing waves on a string, standing sound waves in a pipe, beats, refraction, image formation, double-slit interference, and single-slit diffraction. Computer programming for computation, modeling, and data analysis may be incorporated. (Corequisite: PHYS301). Fall of even years. Course Fee: $35.00
