Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (120 Hours)

Program Outcomes

Design Principles & Spatial Planning: Students will apply advanced knowledge of design principles, spatial planning, furniture and fixture selection, and environmental considerations to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe interior environments.

Technical Proficiency & Industry Standards: Students will demonstrate competence in industry-standard design tools, software (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling), and building systems, adhering to professional and regulatory standards in interior design practice.

Human-Centered & Sustainable Design: Students will integrate ergonomics, accessibility, sustainability, and culturally responsive design strategies to create inclusive and environmentally responsible interior spaces.

Professional Communication & Collaboration: Students will communicate design concepts clearly and effectively through verbal, visual, and written means, collaborating with clients, contractors, and interdisciplinary teams in professional contexts.

Professional Practice & Career Preparedness: Students will develop a professional portfolio, project documentation, and other career-ready materials demonstrating their technical expertise, design vision, and readiness to enter the interior design profession or pursue graduate study.
