Advanced Studio Proficiency & Artistic Literacy: Students will demonstrate advanced technical and conceptual skills across a range of studio media, applying visual art principles, creative processes, and disciplinary knowledge to produce a cohesive body of work that informs their teaching practice.
Pedagogical Knowledge & Curriculum Design: Students will design developmentally appropriate K–12 visual arts curriculum that integrates state and national standards, diverse artistic traditions, contemporary practices, and sequential lesson planning grounded in educational theory.
Effective Instructional Practice & Classroom Management: Students will employ a variety of instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and differentiated learning approaches to create inclusive, engaging, and safe K–12 learning environments that support diverse learners.
