Program Outcomes

Apply foundational scientific knowledge in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and exercise prescription to design, implement and assess safe fitness and wellness programs for diverse populations.

Demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard assessment techniques including fitness testing, health screening and basic movement evaluations to support entry-level practice in health, wellness and performance settings.

Demonstrate competency in research literacy by locating, evaluating and interpreting peer-reviewed scientific literature to inform clinical decision making.

Prepare for workforce readiness and professional advancement by identifying appropriate minors and pursuing relevant professional certifications.
