CHEM101 The World of Chemistry

(NATURAL SCIENCE) Intended for the non-science major, this course will intro- duce concepts of chemistry by relating them to their daily uses. Hands-on learning is emphasized through classroom and laboratory activities, showing the interplay of theory and experiment, and how they relate to the scientific method. (Does not count toward Chemistry major or minor). Three hours of lecture, one 3-hour laboratory per week. Fall and Spring.
