T ED392 Science and Social Studies Methods for Elementary Teachers

Through co-teaching, students will experience how to plan, sequence, teach, and assess science lessons focused on reasoning and arguing from evidence; making thinking public and critiquing others; creating and interpreting complex text; and making sense of the world. Skill with applying concepts and modes of inquiry from the integration of the social studies to promote learners; abilities to make informed decisions as engaged citizens and enact change in society will also be honed. (Pre-requisite:T ED291, T ED292, T ED208, T ED209, and TED340; Co-requisite T 329L) Fall.
