PHYS401 Classical Mechanics

An introduction to classical dynamics. Topics include the motions of particles and systems of particles in one, two, and three dimensions, oscillations, gravitation, Lagrangian & Hamiltonian dynamics, and motion in noninertial frames. (Prerequisites: PHYS202 or PHYS301 and MATH215 or MATH305). Fall of odd years.
