MUS100 Foundations in Music Studies

This course is intended to provide the foundational skills necessary for success as a music major or minor. Rudimentary concepts include the grand staff, key signatures, time signatures, notation, major and minor scales, simple and compound time, and chord construction. Concepts of ear training and basic keyboard skills will be introduced.
