CS479 Capstone: Data Analytics Practicum
(EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING) This course is a capstone project in which students are asked to work through a full data science workflow on a set of real data drawn from sports, politics, business or public health. This course exists to prepare students for the kind of work they will do on Data Science or Analytics teams, and as such, also features an emphasis on interviewing for jobs in the space and communicating results to stakeholders. (Prerequisites: Senior Standing)
Notes
This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College. Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
