T ED229 Classroom Management
This course provides educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to create and maintain an effective learning environment in PK-12 classrooms. Participants will explore research-based classroom management techniques, behavior support strategies, and student engagement methods to foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Topics include establishing clear expectations, implementing proactive behavior interventions, managing diverse learning needs, and utilizing restorative practices. Educators will also develop strategies for fostering relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support a safe and productive learning environment. Through case studies, practical applications, and reflective discussions, participants will develop a comprehensive classroom management plan tailored to their teaching context.
