HCA385 Health and Society: Introduction to Public Health

Course introduces a population-based perspective on health and health care management. Students will consider costs and economic and social determinants of health as they affect health promotion and patient behavior, access to/use of delivery systems, insured vs. uncompensated care, food safety & nutrition, and care for the aged. (Prerequisite: HCA281).
