HCA301 Health Economics

Health economics is the application of economics to health care in support of public good. Through the use of various economics theories, students will assess available resources, equate quality metrics, analyze how healthcare organizations attach a money value to particular health status, and investigate the effectiveness of health policy outcomes through an economic lens. (Prerequisite: ECON202)
