GEOL318 Field and Laboratory Methods

( EXPERIENIAL LEARNING / INTERNSHIP) An introduction to geological field and laboratory techniques and the fundamentals of collection and interpretation of geologic data in field and laboratory settings. Topics include field instruments, aerial photography, maps, stratigraphic columns, provenance, analytical equipment, and geochemistry. Field trip required. (Prerequisites: GEOL307 and GEOL314).
