FASH377 Fashion Product Development & Textile
This course bridges textile science and product development, guiding students through the process of turning a fashion concept into a market-ready product. Students will explore textile properties, fabric sourcing, sustainability in materials, and garment construction. Emphasis is placed on creating tech packs, line sheets, and basic product lifecycle management (PLM) documentation. Projects include selecting textiles for a mini capsule collection, developing product specs, and presenting a sourcing strategy aligned with brand positioning and market needs.
