FASH375 Trend Analysis and Forecasting

This course explores how trends emerge, evolve, and shape the global fashion landscape. Students will learn to identify macro and micro trends using fashion history, cultural analysis, market data, and consumer behavior insights. Through hands-on research, mood boards, and forecasting presentations, students will develop the ability to anticipate future trends in color, fabric, silhouette, and lifestyle. Tools such as WGSN and fashion forecasting platforms will be introduced. Final projects include developing a trend report and presenting a seasonal forecast to simulate industry practice. (Prerequisite: FASH270).
