CS465 Digital Forensics

The course covers computer forensics based on the features that are available in current operating systems. It introduces the scope of digital forensics, the file system in Window operating system, evidence acquisition, network forensics and incident response, forensics for mobile platforms, forensics in images and photographs, coverage of other operating systems such as MacOS and Linux, and emergent technologies (IoT). (Prerequisites: CS325)
