CS365 Offensive Security I

This course helps to understand penetration testing and explores some of the methodologies of penetration testing. Students will be exposed to the importance of scoping of the activity as well conformance to the customer requirements. Topics covered include active and passive reconnaissance, gathering and analyzing vulnerability scans, social engineering attacks, impersonation and physical attacks, and network-based vulnerabilities (wired and wireless).
