ART219 Typography

(ARTS) Studio. An introduction to lettering skills and the history and foundation of letterforms. Students explore the fundamentals of typography through typographic history, tools, terminology and techniques. Students learn to recognize and analyze basic letterforms while exploring the uses of contemporary typesetting tools. (Prerequisite: ART102 or permission of instructor). Fall. Course Fee: $100.00
