NUTR400 Medical Nutrition

Through this course, students will gain insights into how medical and social histories play a crucial role in accurate nutrition diagnoses. The course also highlights various counseling techniques and introduces therapeutic diets tailored to address specific health challenges. Emphasizing the importance of monitoring and evaluating outcomes, this course prepares students for effective and informed interventions. (Prerequisite: NUTR321)

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
