MATH307 Probability for Actuaries

Actuaries and quantitative professionals deal primarily in probabilities. This course will cover a wide range of topics and introduce you to core probability concepts needed for actuarial and quantitative work. You will be able to apply to concepts of probability to real-world scenarios. This course will also fully cover all content required by the Society of Actuaries P Exam and its equivalents. (Prerequisites: MATH215 and MATH304)

Any of the following: Theory of Probability (MATH304), Calculus and Analytic Geometry III (MATH215)

Notes

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College.  Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
