HCA401 Public Health Studies II: Dem, Geo Mapping & Qual Research
This course provides students with a variety of tools for understanding the impact that disease other Public Health concerns may have on a population. Students will learn how to design effective surveys, analyze geographic data (including required participation in a mapathon), and use qualitative information with the ultimate goal of gaining a better understanding of how events may affect the health of a particular population. (Prerequisites: SOC385 and HCA400).

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College. Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
