CS311 Application Development I - Backend

This is the first course in the Application Development series. It explores Web application and introduces Django- a Python-based framework used in the creation of complex data-driven websites. Students will learn the features and particularities of Django, as well as the basics of Web applications including HTML, the Request-Response structure, database management, and the internal structure of servers. In addition to data structures and modules in Python. (Prerequisite: CS110).

Notes

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College.  Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
