CS242 Data Structures

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of data structures. Students will learn what a data structure is, how to perform a range of operations on them and be introduced to the study of algorithms as it pertains to the covered data structures. Topics include linked lists, arrays, stack, queue, tree, graph, heap, hash, and the subsequent operations on the data structures such as adding elements, removing elements, searching for an element. (Prerequisite: CS103 or CS203)

Notes

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.

Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College.  Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
