AIL202 AI Ethics
Have you ever heard someone say that AI could take over the world? As drastic as that may sound, AI poses substantial ethical risks to businesses, people, and anyone taking advantage of the technology. Therefore, learning the ethical theories and legal frameworks surrounding AI is critical for anyone using AI tools. This course will explore the ethical standards and legal requirements in AI deployment, covering topics such as bias, privacy, and governance. (Prerequisite: AIL100 AI for Everyone)

This course may be offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities or in seat at Adrian College. Online instruction may be provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by Adrian College. Students register through Adrian College and receive academic credit from Adrian College.
