T ED542 Today's Health Content II

Students will learn that violence prevention, intentional and unintentional injury, suicide prevention, mental health, environmental health, and character education are content areas in CSHE and that CSHE is on the of the eight components of a Coordinated School Health Program. The emphasis will be on providing functional knowledge and teaching skills, developing attitudes, and selecting effective educational resources to encourage adolescents to adopt healthy behaviors.
