(PHILOSOPHY/RELIGION, CROSS CULTURAL) A wide-ranging exploration into the many faces of the figure of Jesus, through a variety of genres and media. In addition to the New Testament writings and other early Christian literature, the course engages multiple interpretations in novels, film, art, pop culture, and other contexts, including perspectives from outside the United States.
