MATH100-B Basic College Mathematics with Applications
This course offers a broad overview of fundamental mathematical concepts, designed to equip students with practical skills for everyday life. Key topics include: proficiency in real number; the ability to interpret and create various types of graphs; data collection and analysis, emphasizing the relevance of data; statistical measures; and an introduction to essential concepts from elementary algebra, personal finance, voter theory, problem-solving, set theory, logic, and functions. Successful completion of this course satisfies the basic skills mathematics requirement. (Prerequisite: Mathematics Placement Policy.) Fall, Spring.
