ESAT539 Advanced Strength & Conditioning

Integrates advanced scientific principles, concepts, and theories of exercise to improve the condition of the physically active and competitive athlete. Topics include scientific basis of training and conditioning, testing and assessment methods, exercise technique, periodization, and issues related to organization and administration of programs. This course provides advanced preparatory information for various exercise certifications. (Prerequisites: Department approval, or ESAT 339 or equiv.)
