BIOL217 Principles of Ecology

The structure and function of living systems, including patterns of relationship between organisms and their environment. The study begins with populations and builds to the level of ecosystems and the biosphere. Three hours of lecture per week. See BIOL218 for a related laboratory experience. The lab is required for students pursing a Bachelor of Science or is an Environmental Science major. (Prerequisites: MATH101 and a 100 level BIOL or ESS course). Fall.
